As a graduate of the BA (Hons) in Contemporary English Studies degree, my time at Lingnan was marked by unique challenges, particularly during the COVID-19 pandemic. Navigating online classes was a new experience, but I felt fortunate to have approachable and supportive professors who were always there to help me succeed.
I love that the community at Lingnan is very close-knit, creating a sense of belonging that I cherish. Lingnan is undoubtedly a very important part of my life; it made my dream of becoming a teacher come true, and I will forever be grateful to my second home, Lingnan.
I am especially grateful for my favorite professor, Janet Ho, whose guidance and encouragement were invaluable. Her passion for teaching and dedication to her students made a significant difference in my academic experience. I truly believe that without her support, I would not have achieved my full potential.
One of the highlights of my studies at Lingnan was participating in the Integrated Learning Programme (ILP). I engaged in meaningful activities that extended my learning beyond the classroom. These experiences allowed me to apply my knowledge in real-world settings, enhancing my understanding of the subject matter and helping me develop essential skills.
Looking back, I cherish the memories of my time at Lingnan and the friendships I built along the way. My advice to future students is to embrace every opportunity for learning, both in and out of the classroom. Stay connected with your professors and peers, as these relationships can shape your journey in ways you might not expect.
