Introduced since the 2022/23 academic year, SNDAS aims to recognize the talent of local secondary students that could not be fully assessed by HKDSE Examinations. All JUPAS-participating programmes in Lingnan University are glad to review and admit outstanding SNDAS nominees.
A New Scholarship Scheme for Successful SNDAS Student Admittees
Starting from this 2025/26 academic year, the Home and Youth Affairs Bureau will introduce a new scholarship scheme for a selective list of successful SNDAS admittees with remarkable achievements in arts, sports and/or community service. Each awardee, who will not be subject to means testing, will be granted a scholarship of $10,000 per year throughout their four-year tuition period. Key Timeline and Documents to Submit
The SNDAS nomination period will run from 9 October to 3 December 2025. Usually, admission interviews for all SNDAS nominees will be conducted from February to May and the interview arrangement will be announced via email. Firm offers will be given to successful nominees prior to the release of the HKDSE Examination results. Information/Documents to be submitted include but not limited to:
- Student Nominee’s full name
- Student Nominee’s email address
- Student Nominee’s contact number
- Student Nominee’s JUPAS application number
- Programme Choice
- Name of School
- Contact information of academic referee (Email, phone and name)
- Recommendation letter(s) (if any)
- Awards/certificates received (if any)
- SLP/OEA (if any)
- Predicted grades (if any)
- Examination reports (if any)
- Any Other Relevant Supporting Evidence
