Application Method

1.  Application Period

The application period for applying for MScESGM 2026-27 is 1 October 2025 to 30 June 2026.
Admissions will be closed once the quota is reached.

2.  Application Fee 

A non-refundable and non-transferable application fee of HK$400 is charged for each application.

3.  Application Procedures 

• Applicants can apply online.
  For online application, please access the University’s online application system via the Internet at https://www.ln.edu.hk/admission/apply/.

• Supporting Documents
  Applicants should scan and submit the following documents to the Online Application System for evaluation of their applications:

1. Identity documents (e.g. Identity card*, passport or other travel document)
2. Official Transcript (for academic qualifications of undergraduate and/or postgraduate studies):
3. An official final transcript for a completed programme
4. The latest transcript if the programme is not yet completed
5. An official English-translated copy must be attached if the transcript is not in English. The interpretation of grades (in English) is also required.
6. Degree Certificate/Graduation Certificate/Proof of Study (as appropriate)
7. Verification proof by third-party authorities (for a completed programme):
8. Online Verification Report of Higher Education Degree Certificate (中國高等教育學位在綫驗証報告), both Chinese and English versions, issued by the CHSI (中國高等教育學生信息網) for qualification(s) awarded by universities in Mainland China
9. Online Query of Overseas Credentials Evaluation Reports國(境)外學歷學位認証書 issued by the Chinese Service Center for Scholarly Exchange (CSCSE) (教育部留學服務中心) (applicable to Mainland applicants with qualifications awarded by overseas universities)
10. Proof of English language proficiency, e.g. IETLS, TOEFL Score Report (applicable to applicants whose degree or, exceptionally, an alternative qualification deemed equivalent, is not from a tertiary institution where English is used as the medium of instruction (MOI) for the degree programme)

*Do not upload copy of HKID. Local students will be required to present HKID for verification upon registration.

No Dishonest 

Any false, unclear or misleading information and/or document(s) provided by applicants in their application will disqualify their applications or revoke their admission offers, and any fees paid, including down payment or deposit, will be forfeited. According to the laws of Hong Kong, forgery is a serious criminal offence that a convicted offender may be liable to imprisonment for fourteen years.

4.  Selection

All applicants for admission to the programme will be considered on the basis of academic and professional qualifications, work experience, suitability, and potential. Applicants may be required to attend an interview (via online) conducted by the Director of Taught Postgraduate Programmes Office and one more faculty member.

Applications are processed on a rolling basis until all places are filled. Early applications are strongly encouraged.
