I&E Academy - Western Exposure

California is widely recognised as a global hub for innovation and entrepreneurship. With Silicon Valley as the epicentre of the startup ecosystem, surrounding cities such as Los Angeles are also home to important stakeholders including startups, incubators, accelerators and venture capitals.

Recognising the importance of international exposure, LEI provides students with the opportunity to travel to Los Angeles to learn about innovations and new strategies in entrepreneurship. Students attend a lecture series conducted by UCLA Extension, and visit selected startups and incubators to understand the latest developments and practices in the region. This exposure allows students to see things from a global perspective, and adopt the learnings in their own entrepreneurial pursuits here in Hong Kong.
