As an individual who returned to academia after many years of industry experience, my time at Lingnan University has been truly transformative.

The small and close-knit learning community at MIB department has been immensely beneficial to my personal and academic growth. I had the opportunity to take doctoral-level courses from other Hong Kong universities at no cost. From the very beginning, I was able to work on research projects under the close supervision and generous support from my advisors, with high flexibility and customization for my research needs.

Thanks to the knowledgeable professors and fellow students, along with the friendly and caring administrative colleagues, my Lingnan experience is a collection of memorable moments. Even now, when I look back on my two years at Lingnan, I find myself deeply missing it. It was the place that sparked my passion and consolidated my foundation for my Ph.D. study in the United States. It was the place where I embarked on a new life journey and fully immersed myself in the academic world, under the care of the nicest people I have ever met.
