Alex Pak Lik Tsang received his PhD in Psychology and his Master of Applied Psychology from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, and his BA in Psychology from York University, Canada. Prior to joining Lingnan University in August 2026, he was a postdoctoral fellow at the School of Nursing, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. His research focuses on cognitive ageing and dementia caregiving, combining technology-enabled behavioural interventions with the analysis of large longitudinal cohorts to investigate the social determinants of later-life cognition and mental health. He is a Chartered Psychologist and Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society, and a Registered Psychologist of the Hong Kong Psychological Society.
