Prof. LEE Liane Wai Ying

Introduction:
Prof. Liane LEE has 15 years of senior management experience in product management and overseeing large-scale strategic projects. Prof. Lee has worked in two note-issuing banks and was appointed to represent in industry-wide projects, including the Personal Renminbi Scheme and the Deposit Protection Scheme with the Hong Kong Association of Banks and the Hong Kong Monetary Authority. Before joining the academia, Prof. Lee was the Chief Operating Officer of a mining company based in the Asia Pacific Region. Prof. Lee has developed a strategic research agenda in guanxi (relationship management), stakeholder engagement and management communications with publications in the Journal of Business Research, International Marketing Review, and Public Relations Review. She has received over HK$2m in funding from various competitive government, matching, teaching and seed grants. Prof. Lee worked in the higher education sector since 2012, including City University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong Baptist University, Technological and Higher Education Institute of Hong Kong and The Hang Seng University of Hong Kong.
