LibQUAL+ Library Survey 2023

From April 3 to May 2, 2023, the Library conducted a LibQUAL+ Library Survey to gather user feedback on Library services, areas, and facilities. This marked the first time that all eight JULAC libraries participated in the JULAC LibQUAL+ survey, with CUHK, CityU, EdUHK, and LU conducting the survey in the first half of 2023, and HKBU, HKU, HKUST, and PolyU conducting theirs in the second half of the year. 

This system-wide survey tool allows us to benchmark our library service and satisfaction levels against other UGC-funded libraries in Hong Kong and other libraries around the world via the Association of Research Libraries (ARL). The 2023 result can also be used to compare and measure our performance against the same survey taken in previous years. 

We are pleased to report that the Library has outperformed previous survey results from 2015 and 2019 across all benchmark comparisons. Additionally, the survey results showed that our Library outperformed most of our JULAC and ARL counterparts and ranked second in terms of user-perceived satisfaction level.
