Updates of Checkout / Request Privileges

The library listened to your voice and suggestions and has made the following updates to the Checkout/Request privileges. 

Extended Checkout Period for Language Examinations & Learning Resources and AV & Multimedia 

We are excited to announce that the checkout period for our Language Examinations & Learning Resources, along with the AV & Multimedia materials, has been extended from 7 days to 14 days! This extension was made after a thorough review by our dedicated Library Team, who are committed to providing the best possible services to our valued users. Please note the checkout and request quotas remain unaltered.

Cancellation of Renewal and Request for Notebook Computers (Staff Only) 

In response to the diminishing demand for Notebook Computers, the renewal and request service for this particular material type have been cancelled. This step has been taken as part of our ongoing efforts to optimize library resources. 

Cancellation on Request Privileges for JULAC Users 

Following the launch of our new Self-Pickup Locker, we have revised our policies regarding request privileges for incoming JULAC users. From now on, JULAC users should make requests for Lingnan University Library materials from their home library HKALL service. This will enable a fair use of the Library items.
