Installation of Solar Panels

Lingnan University is committed to combating climate change and achieving carbon neutrality before 2050. As part of this commitment, it has recently installed 318 solar panels on the Chan Tak Tai Auditorium, Wong Administration Building, and Lau Chung Him Building, generating approximately 190,000 kWh of renewable energy annually. Lingnan University is continuously exploring additional campus locations to further enhance our production of renewable energy.

Low carbon energy used in the whole university

Besides the PV panel installation, Lingnan University adopted different equipment which is powered by solar energy, such as solar mosquito lamp, solar bollard light and solar high-level light.
