Dr. Pedro Páez
Dr. Pedro Páez is Superintendent for Market Power Control of the Government of Ecuador. He previously served as Deputy Minister of Finance, Minister for the Coordination of Economic Policy, President of the Ecuadorian Technical Commission for the New Regional Financial Architecture, and Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Republic of Ecuador in the Government Special Mission for the New Financial International Architecture. He also served as a member of the Commission of United Nations Experts on the Global Financial Crisis, chaired by Joseph Stiglitz and the Paris Group convened by the UN Presidency of the G20 in 2011.
