From HR Classroom to Beauty Pageant Champion!
Huge congratulations to Henna LIU Yeuk Tung, our talented third-year HRM student from the Department of Management, who has emerged as Hong Kong’s winning contestant in the 19th Miss Global City Pageant! Her talent and determination have shone brightly, inspiring everyone around her!
Throughout the competition, Henna applied her HR knowledge to build meaningful connections with mentors, fellow contestants, and judges. Her emotional journey, evolving from initial nervousness to final joy, offered her deep insights into the rewards of hard work. Henna expressed that the KSAO (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics) theory learned from her HRM2200 Human Resource Planning and Staffing greatly supported her performance. She highlighted that beauty pageants demand more than just physical appearance—they require intellect, skills, and unique charm.
