Department of Management and Hong Kong People Management Association (HKPMA) Launch Career Mentoring Programme to Strengthen Industry-Academia Collaboration

The Department of Management launched the Career Mentoring Programme 2026/27 in partnership with the Hong Kong People Management Association (HKPMA) through a Kick-off Ceremony held on 27 October 2026. The programme reflects the Department's commitment to integrating industry expertise into student learning by connecting undergraduates with experienced human resources and business professionals. Through one-on-one mentoring, professional networking opportunities, and career development activities, students gain valuable insights into workplace practices, leadership, and talent management beyond the classroom.

As part of the Department's broader approach to experiential learning, the collaboration with HKPMA enables students to engage directly with senior industry practitioners, bridging academic knowledge with real-world business applications. This partnership demonstrates how the Department of Management works closely with professional bodies and industry leaders to enhance students' learning experiences, strengthen employability, and prepare graduates for success in a rapidly evolving business environment.

The Career Mentoring Programme forms part of the rich learning opportunities available to students in the Bachelor of Business Administration (Honours) - Management and Analytics, reinforcing Lingnan University's commitment to nurturing future business and management professionals through meaningful industry engagement.
