Prof. Liane LEE Invited as Guest Speaker at ESG Workshop

On November 11, 2025, the “ESG Compliance and Value Empowerment Workshop” successfully concluded in Hong Kong, jointly organized by CECEPEC (中節能皓信) and Wonderful Sky Financial Group (皓天財經集團). The event aimed to help enterprises enhance ESG governance, achieve regulatory compliance, and create long-term value. It gathered leaders from government, finance, and academia to share insights on sustainable development, green finance, and climate action.

We are proud to announce that Prof. Liane LEE (李暐英教授), Associate Professor from the Department of Management at Lingnan University, was invited as one of the keynote speakers. Prof. Lee presented her latest research on leveraging big data to monitor climate-related public sentiment and stakeholder engagement. Her work demonstrates how enterprises can use quantitative analysis of media content to understand perceptions of climate commitments and improve ESG strategies. By showcasing case studies from FTSE 100 companies, Prof. Lee highlighted the importance of transparent communication and proactive stakeholder engagement in strengthening ESG performance and reducing greenwashing risks.

Other distinguished speakers included representatives from the Hong Kong Investment Promotion Agency, CECEPEC, and HSBC, covering topics such as Hong Kong’s sustainable finance policies, ESG compliance frameworks, and net-zero transition strategies.
