Dr. Mandy Hoi received her PhD degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of Calgary, Canada. After she returned to Hong Kong, she has worked in the education sector in different capacities, as an administrator, counseling psychologist, and teacher. During her tenure at another university before joining Lingnan University in September 2022, she had received numerous citations for outstanding teaching. Though not actively engaging in research recently, her passion continues to lie in areas such as psychopathology, psychotherapy, positive psychology, child and adolescent development, parent education and other related areas.
