Project area: Heritage conservation

Supervisor: Professor Mark Hansley CHUA (https://scholars.ln.edu.hk/en/persons/mark-hansley-yang-chua)

Project description

The project seeks to examine how recipients of UNESCO Asia-Pacific Awards for Culture Heritage Conservation (hereafter as “Awards”) in Hong Kong have fared in sustaining collaboration/collective action in carrying out conservation activities over the years after receiving their Awards. It seeks to analyse the mechanisms in which the Awards (and other relevant institutional frameworks) can sustain, improve, or lessen collaborative efforts among the project stakeholders. This research project is supported by a General Research Fund.
