‘’The year I spent studying Health Analytics and Management (HAM) at Lingnan University was a very meaningful year in my life. Building on my undergraduate major, the HAM Master's program helped me make the leap to job searching, producing a one plus one effect.

Thanks to the platform of my school and my major, I enriched my resume by participating in the Greater Bay Area Internship Program, which ultimately led me to obtain a management position in a Grade 3A hospital and a teaching position in a health college. ‘’

I am a graduate of the class of 2023 in Health Analytics and Management at Lingnan University. Through my learning experience of studying at Lingnan University for one year, I believe that HAM at Lingnan University is very helpful for those who intend to pursue a career in the management of healthcare services and data analytics.

In terms of on-campus learning, Lingnan University has quality teaching resources from around the world. Through a team of highly qualified teachers, visiting expert speakers from various fields, and complete multimedia and internet teaching equipment, a professional and comfortable learning environment is created for students.
During the on-campus learning process, students are exposed to the experiences of different providers and users in the health services and data analytics industry and understand the needs of service providers, managers, service recipients, and the supply chain of the industry; they learn how to organize a complete data analytics survey from the steps of problem-solving, organizing a survey, summarising and analyzing the data, and generating a report.

In terms of off-campus practice, Lingnan University maintains close ties with a large number of academic, medical, social service, and other professional-related organizations. The University often organizes academic lectures and sharing sessions for students in related industries. During the study period, there are opportunities for students to enter local medical institutions for study tours and participate in local international exhibitions in Hong Kong under the organization of the University. Through these activities combined with classroom content, students can gain a deeper understanding of the latest developments in the local aging technology and healthcare data analytics industries, the social process of aging and the means to cope with it, as well as the policy and social issues faced by the healthcare industry.

Through the combination of on-campus teaching and practical experience in off-campus activities, I believe that graduates of the Health Analytics and Management program at Lingnan University will have the ability to identify and solve the current practical problems in the health and data analytics and other related industries, and that enrolment in the program will help one's future career and social development.

After graduation, I am able to work as a clinic assistant in Hong Kong.

So I highly recommend those who are interested in joining the healthcare, medical data analysis and other related industries to consider the Health Analytics and Management program at Lingnan University!
