This is the first inter-faculty/school double degree
programme at Lingnan University, jointly offered by the Faculty of Business and the School of Data Science at Lingnan University.
This interdisciplinary programme integrates finance, artificial intelligence and innovative design to nurture future professionals capable of leading digital transformation and innovation in the financial sector.

"Finance is being rebuilt by artificial intelligence. Employers now look for graduates who understand both markets and technology, and can design products customers value.
This programme gives you both. In four years you earn two honours degrees, one in Finance and one in Innovative Design and AI. In your final year, you will solve a real financial problem and build a working prototype, with input from industry.
Small classes and your own academic advisor mean you will not be a number.

Programme Highlight
Students can complete two honours degrees in four years, which is one year shorter than most comparable five-year double degree programmes in Hong Kong.
The Faculty of Business has been AACSB-accredited since 2011, and the Finance programme is a member of the CFA Institute University Affiliation Program. Students benefit from professional recognition opportunities, selected professional examination exemptions (including HKSI, ACCA and IFPHK), and dedicated career advising from Year 1. The Innovative Design and Artificial Intelligence programme is designed with reference to HKIE recommendations.
This interdisciplinary programme integrates two dynamic fields through a carefully designed curriculum that combines finance with innovative design and artificial intelligence. Students will develop a solid foundation in corporate finance, investment management, financial technology and risk management, while gaining expertise in emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, blockchain technology and innovative design. Through this unique blend of business and technology, students will develop strong analytical, problem-solving and innovation capabilities, preparing them to become future-ready professionals with both business acumen and technological expertise.
