Double Master's Degree Programme with Essex Business School (EBS)

(Students from all master's programmes except MScAIBA, MScATB, MScBIE and MScESGM are eligible for this double degree programme)

Mode of Study	Full-time
Programme Duration	Normal: 2 years Students will spend the first year at LU and the second year at Essex.
Medium of Instruction	English
Modules Required	The number of modules differ for each programme. However, students will need to complete 30 credits--or in the case of MAcc, 33 credits--at LU, 180 Level 7 credits at Essex, and pass all taught postgraduate modules and dissertation.
Pre-entry Requirements	Students must successfully complete their LU master's degree with an overall transcript average of CGPA of 2.75
Tuition Fees (for 2025/26)	Tuition fees differ depending on the programme taken. Depending on the LU master's programme taken, the programmes available at Essex will differ. The example below shows the tuition fees for a LU Master of Accountancy student taking the Master of Business Management programme at Essex. • Year 1: HKD300,000 (Non-local student fee at LU) • Year 2: GBP21,350 (International student fee at Essex)* *The fee at Essex is subject to a 10% discount.

(Only MAcc, MScMIB, and MSceBSCM students are eligible for this double degree programme.)

Programme Duration	Normal: 2-3 years Students will spend the first year at LU and the second (or third) year at Essex.
Medium of Instruction	English
Modules Required	The number of modules differs for each programme. However, students will need to complete 30 credits at LU (or in the case of MAcc, 33 credits), 180 Level 7 credits at Essex, and pass all taught postgraduate modules and dissertations.
Pre-entry Requirements	Students must successfully complete their LU master's degree with an overall transcript average of CGPA of 2.75 AND complete the pre-entry course ACT502 Business and Company Law or another equivalent course in law at LU prior to enrolling at Essex.
