Professional Recognitions

The University maintains close ties with a number of well-known professional bodies in Hong Kong and overseas. In recognition of the standard of our courses, some students have been granted exemptions from segments of various professional examinations. Regarding the BBA (Hons) programme, negotiations are on-going for professional recognition and exemption. Graduates of the Major in Human Resource Management Programme are eligible for Associate membership of the Hong Kong Institute of Human Resource Management (HKIHRM).

The Faculty of Business at Lingnan University is accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB International), representing the highest standard in business education in the world. The Accreditation reassures the Faculty's outstanding performance in teaching and learning, ongoing development, strategic management and innovations.

Founded in 1913, Beta Gamma Sigma is the international business honor society for AACSB-accredited schools. Lingnan’s Faculty of Business was among one of 900-plus schools of business worldwide which have earned accreditation from AACSB International. The Lingnan University Chapter was established in 2012 recognizing and honoring top performing students. Beta Gamma Sigma membership is by invitation only to Lingnan BBA students who are top 10% of undergraduate students, top 15% of graduate students and all doctoral candidates that have successfully defended their dissertation.
