Humanitarian Technology Summer Research (HTSR)

The Humanitarian Technology Summer Research (HTSR) Programme offers undergraduate students from any discipline the opportunity to engage in interdisciplinary, impact-driven research alongside leading international partners. Participants work on authentic projects that address real-world challenges, gaining hands-on experience in bridging academic inquiry with societal needs.

• Japan (co‑organised with the University of Tokyo & Kyoto)

• Canada (co‑organised with the University of Toronto)

Who Should Apply
Full-time undergraduate students from any discipline with a genuine interest in innovative research, sustainable development, or humanitarian technology. Students interest to pursue graduate studies will also benefit from the research experience.
