Dr. Lulu LI joined Lingnan University as a Research Assistant Professor (RGC Postdoctoral Fellowship awardee) in the Department of Sociology and Social Policy at Lingnan University in September 2024. Dr. Li obtained her Ph.D. in Gender Studies from the Chinese University of Hong Kong. Before joining Lingnan University, she was a Postdoctoral fellow at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, where she also taught part-time. Dr. Li’s research interests are the interaction of gender, work, and family in China, self-employment and gig work, and digital nomadism in the context of marketization, digitalization, and globalization.
