Ms. LIN Xiaoyi

Xiaoyi Lin received her bachelor’s degree in Asian and International Studies, with a second major in Psychology, from City University of Hong Kong. She then completed her research master’s in Social Psychology at the University of Amsterdam. Taking an interdisciplinary perspective, her research interests lie at the intersection of social psychology, cultural sociology, and demography. Her PhD research examines how cultural values shape demographic outcomes, particularly fertility intentions and behaviours. She primarily employs quantitative methods, including surveys, experiments, and large-scale cross-national datasets.
