Biography
Weizhou was a BSocSc student at Lingnan, majoring in Social and Public Policy Studies, and minoring in Sociology from 2019 to 2023. Then, he continued to pursue the MSocSc programme in Comparative Social Policy (International) in 2023-2024 with the Award of Distinction. Now, he becomes a research postgraduate in Sociology and Social Policy. He has also served as a part-time research assistant in the department since his undergraduate career. He is brilliant in the fields of drug abuse, marijuana consumption, gerontology, and public housing. In his master's thesis, he compared the impacts posed by recreational cannabis legalization in countries with different control policies.
