Rainstorm Warnings and "Extreme Conditions"
When Amber and Red Rainstorm Warnings are in force, CYS Hall remains open.
When the Black Rainstorm Warning and/or "Extreme Conditions" is hoisted, the arrangement depends on the hoisting and lowering time:
| Hoisted when the Hall is open: | Remains open |
| Remain hoisted before normal opening hours: | Closed |
| Lowered 3 hours or more before normal closing time: | If conditions allow, the CYS Hall will resume service within 2 hours. If less than 3 hours remain until closing, the CYS Hall will remain closed for the rest of the day. |
Tropical Cyclone (Typhoon)
When Tropical Cyclone Signal No. 1 and No. 3 are in force, CYS Hall remains open.
When Tropical Cyclone Signal No.8 or above is hoisted, the arrangement depends on the hoisting and lowering time. Details are as follows:
| Hoisted during opening hours: | Will be closed immediately |
| Remains hoisted 2 hours before normal opening hours: | Closed |
| Lowered 3 hours or more before normal closing time: | If conditions allow, the CYS Hall will resume service within 2 hours. If less than 3 hours remain until closing, the CYS Hall will remain closed for the rest of the day. |
