CHOW Ting Hei

Two years of Higher Diploma studies have passed in the blink of an eye. Looking back, every step has been filled with hard work and rewards—from foundational health and fitness to strength and conditioning, from sports injury prevention to guiding special populations. Each specialised subject has helped me build a solid professional foundation, while the practicum and project leadership taught me how to turn theory into action.

I am grateful to Lingnan University’s Institute of Continuing Education for offering such comprehensive and practice-oriented programmes. Special thanks go to Eric Sir (Mr. Wong Lik-chu) and Harvey Sir (Mr. Man Wing-cheong) for their dedicated guidance; your rigour and passion have illuminated my path as a coach.

The honours on my transcript are certainly satisfying, but what I truly treasure are the lessons in perseverance, teamwork, and empathy. To my juniors: cherish every training session, every class, and every chance to rise after a fall. The glory in sports does not lie in winning every time, but in never giving up. Stay true to your original aspirations, become role models for others, and above all, become better versions of yourselves. Let us encourage one another!
