Lingnan Hub Topping-out Ceremony
The Lingnan Hub, a vibrant quarter that combines co-living and co-working spaces, fostering interaction among staff and students, reached a significant milestone with the completion of its concreting works. The construction progress followed the schedule, and the top floor was reached in January 2024. The Topping-out Ceremony, commemorating this achievement, was successfully held on January 5, 2024.

Promotion of Environmental Sustainability
Lingnan University is committed to environmentally sustainable development, actively taking measures to enhance energy efficiency, minimize its environmental impact and achieve sustainable development of the campus. In recognition of its commitment to carbon neutrality and sustainable practices, Lingnan University was honoured with the Certificate of Merit at the Hong Kong Awards for Environmental Excellence 2022, organized by the Environment and Ecology Bureau and Environmental Campaign Committee. Lingnan University also supports the Sustainable Development Goals Charter organized by GBA Economic and Trade Association.

Waste Management
Lingnan University is committed to implementing waste separation and recovery measures on campus to minimize waste disposal in landfills. The campus has introduced a recycle map and increased the number of recycling facilities to facilitate waste management. Collection points have been designated for the proper disposal of hazardous waste, including Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE), fluorescent lamps/tubes, and rechargeable batteries.
Health and Safety – Automated External Defibrillator (AED)
In support of the "AED Anywhere for Anyone" ("AAA") Programme promoted by the Hong Kong Fire Services Department, Lingnan University has installed Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) at designated locations on campus. This initiative aims to protect the lives of individuals experiencing sudden cardiac arrest.
Lingnan@WestKowloon Full Operations
Lingnan@WestKowloon, a satellite campus located on the 12th and 13th floors of the M+ Tower in the West Kowloon Cultural District, has been fully operational since October 2023. The official opening ceremony took place in December 2023, marking this milestone. This satellite campus offers various facilities, including lecture rooms, study rooms, studios, spaces for teacher-student discussions, and breakout areas.
A KMB bus fare saver has recently been installed on the ground floor between the Artist Square Entrance and the M+ Shop.
