Electricity Consumption Statistics

During 2024/25 academic year, Lingnan University experienced a 17.09% reduction in carbon emission (Scope 1 & 2) as compared to 2018/19 baseline year.

Scope 2 - Indirect GHG emissions: 5614.76 tCO2e
Scope 3 - Other indirect GHG emissions: 71.84 tCO2e

Energy Saving Measures

• Use lighting sensors to control the lighting of outdoor areas of Main Campus
• Post up signage to encourage the Lingnan community to use staircases
• Adopt LED lighting
• Participate in various energy saving activities
• Optimize the provision of air conditioning services
• The temperature of the central air-conditioning services is set at about 24°C during the following operating hours for office areas:
