Driving in Lingnan
All roads within the Lingnan Campus are private roads. All drivers shall observe the rules and regulations of the University and the related ordinances, and the Code of Practice issued by the HKSAR Government. When driving on campus, drivers shall always yield to pedestrians who are crossing or waiting to cross a road.
Colleagues are recommended to approach the Campus Support Office for arranging parking spaces for their guests two working days in advance.

Parking Charges
HK$26 per hour or part thereof
Vehicle leaves the campus within 30 minutes from its time of entry will be free of charge.
The above hourly charge may be adjusted by LU from time to time without prior notice.

Note 1: Vehicles parked after 11:00 p.m. will be impounded and shall only be released on payment of $320.00 plus the prevailing parking charge in full based on the number of hours parked, and all discount schemes for parking shall not be applicable.
Remarks: Parking privilege promotion cannot be used in conjunction with other offers. Driver are responsible for ensuring that the redemption is completed before payment. No refund request will be accepted unless involving malfunction of equipment.
Parking Permit for Lingnan Staff & Students
Colleagues and students might apply for parking permits for access and parking on campus by submitting a completed form with a non-refundable annual administrative fee. For details, please refer to the application form.

Electric Vehicles Charging Facilities
The University is committed to advancing the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UNSDG), with a focus on target 3 and 11. In support of creating a cleaner air environment, we actively promote sustainable transportation by encouraging the adoption of electric vehicles (EVs) and expanding EV charging infrastructure across campus. This initiative aligns closely with the "Hong Kong Roadmap on Popularisation of Electric Vehicles" launched in March 2021, reflecting our dedication to reducing carbon emissions and enhancing urban air quality.

Notes:
- The minimum charge for using the EV charging service is 1 kWh. In cases where actual consumption is less than 1 kWh, the charge will be rounded up and billed as 1 kWh.
- The Idling Fee applies only if the EV occupies a designated DC charger parking space after the completion of charging service.
- Idling time after the initial 15 minutes will be rounded up to the nearest full minute for charging purposes.
