課程特色

翻譯(榮譽)文學士課程提供優質的雙語及跨文化教育。翻譯系畢業生對語言具有高度認知，擁有優秀的中英雙語能力，能對事物作出深思，富有創意。課程兼顧理論與實踐，科目題材廣泛，當中包括不同範疇的專業翻譯、口譯、語言學、翻譯理論、翻譯批評和翻譯史。

革新課程融入企業傳訊及科技元素增學生競爭力

嶺南翻譯課程於1986年創辦，38年來與時並進，培育專業人才。課程不斷革新，配合社會發展和切合學生需要，如近年新增7個科目，加入企業傳訊、項目管理、AI應用等元素，為學生融入社會、投身職場做好準備。

傳授AI及語言文化知識培育新世代翻譯專才

翻譯系不僅着重學生的雙語能力，還有其跨學科知識，從理論及實務兩方面鍛鍊學生的專業水平和思辨能力，培育全方位翻譯人才。翻譯系不僅聚焦於語言能力的培育，同時亦開拓學生眼界，打破「讀翻譯只能做翻譯」的過時觀念。

‘Will I be replaced by AI?’ - Natalie CHAN

I thought about that over and over again before my first day of school. Time flies and, as a translation graduate, I am proud to say that I will not be replaced by AI. AI can translate, but a translator never merely translates.
