课程特色

翻译(荣誉)文学士课程提供优质的双语及跨文化教育。翻译系毕业生对语言具有高度认知，拥有优秀的中英双语能力，能对事物作出深思，富有创意。课程兼顾理论与实践，科目题材广泛，当中包括不同范畴的专业翻译、口译、语言学、翻译理论、翻译批评和翻译史。

革新课程融入企业传讯及科技元素增学生竞争力

岭南翻译课程于1986年创办，38年来与时并进，培育专业人才。课程不断革新，配合社会发展和切合学生需要，如近年新增7个科目，加入企业传讯、项目管理、AI应用等元素，为学生融入社会、投身职场做好准备。

传授AI及语言文化知识培育新世代翻译专才

翻译系不仅着重学生的双语能力，还有其跨学科知识，从理论及实务两方面锻炼学生的专业水平和思辨能力，培育全方位翻译人才。翻译系不仅聚焦于语言能力的培育，同时亦开拓学生眼界，打破「读翻译只能做翻译」的过时观念。

‘Will I be replaced by AI?’ - Natalie CHAN

I thought about that over and over again before my first day of school. Time flies and, as a translation graduate, I am proud to say that I will not be replaced by AI. AI can translate, but a translator never merely translates.
