Conceptualization & Association in Business Research

We had the honour of hosting Professor Kenneth S. Law, Professor and Chairman of the Department of Management at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, on August 19th. Professor Law delivered a thought-provoking seminar on 'Conceptualization & Association in Business Research' that left a lasting impression on all attendees.

Through detailed case studies, Professor Law shared his lifelong insights on conducting high-quality academic research. He expertly explored the critical distinctions and connections between conceptualization and association - two key learning processes shaping modern business research. His methodological guidance demonstrated how effective conceptualization can elevate research versus relying solely on association.

This engaging session offered our faculty and PhD students invaluable insights for enhancing the quality and reliability of their own work. We're grateful to Professor Law for sharing his expertise with our department.
