Student Exchange Programmes (SEP)

At Lingnan University, the mission of the Student Exchange Programmes (SEP) is to support students in becoming global citizens through a one-term study exchange at partner institutions in Mainland China or abroad.

 

1. Official Programme Guidelines

  • Application Period: The Office of Global Education (OGE) officially opens applications every September. Watch for the OGE announcement email to submit your application within the designated window.

  • Registration & Status: You will remain registered as an active Lingnan student during your exchange and must return to Lingnan to complete your degree requirements.

  • Eligibility:

    • Academic Requirement: Minimum Cumulative GPA (CGPA) of 2.50.

    • International Exchange (IEP): IELTS (minimum Band 6.0 overall) or TOEFL (minimum 79 iBT / 550 pBT).

    • Mainland Exchange: Putonghua proficiency requirements, depending on the host university.

       

       

2. Exchange Options for Application Planning

The OGE Exchange options 2027-28 provides key references for selecting partner institutions:

 

  • Target Partner Institutions: Cross-check the available quotas in the table regarding available seats of partner universities.

  • Academic & Language Eligibility: Please ensure you satisfy the host institution's minimum entry criteria before including it in your selection.

4. Exchange Information Sessions (ILP)
