Prof. Kwok teaches art history courses at the Department of Digital Arts and Creative Industries (DACI), Lingnan University. She obtained her BA (double majors in Art History and Comparative Literature–Film Studies), MPhil, and PhD (in Art History) from the University of Hong Kong.
Before joining DACI, she taught Baroque art at the University of Hong Kong, and a wide range of Western and Chinese art history subjects (spanning periods before and after 1900) for both MA and BA programs at the Chinese University of Hong Kong and Lingnan University.
An art historian and specialist in cross-cultural interaction between Europe and China, she has published peer-reviewed articles in academic journals and reference publications, including the Grove Dictionary of Art, Grove Art Online, Oxford Art Online, and with Oxford University Press.
Outside academia, Prof. Kwok regularly delivers lecture series and public talks for major art institutions such as the Hong Kong Palace Museum, Asia Society Hong Kong Center, and Christie’s Education.
