Fire Safety
To enhance fire safety awareness among the University community, OCDM regularly organizes fire drills for campus users. 2 fire drills were held for hostels and the Main Campus on 19 November 2025 and 6 January 2026 respectively. Following each drill, brief talks on fire safety were provided. Participants also had the opportunity to practise using fire extinguishers under the guidance of fire service personnel. Campus buildings are equipped with a range of fire service installations, including fire bells, visual alarms, hose reels, sprinklers and emergency power systems, to reduce fire risk and enhance your safety. OCDM carries out regular inspections of these installations to properly maintain them in good working condition.

Automated External Defibrillator (AED)
To support the "AED Anywhere for Anyone" ("AAA") Programme promoted by Fire Services Department, Lingnan University equips AEDs at the designated locations on campus and satellite centres to protect lives of sudden cardiac arrest patients.
Indoor Air Quality Assurance
Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) has significant impact on our health and comfort. Good IAQ may help improve the health of people who work in the relevant buildings. Inspections are performed regularly to monitor the IAQ and measures would be proposed to improve the IAQ if necessary. Lingnan University participated the IAQ Certification Scheme for 15 years and got the “15 Years Commitment Award”. With the effort of the University in maintaining good hygiene in ventilation system and the room environment, our premises attained “Good Class” award under the IAQ Certification Scheme for years.

Green Construction
Lingnan University is committed to environmentally sustainable development, actively taking measures to enhance energy efficiency, minimize its environmental impact and achieve environmentally sustainable development of the campus.
In recognition of the commitment to green construction, Lingnan University was honoured with Hong Kong Green Building Council BEAM Plus Interior Gold Rating for Lecture Theatres LBY G01 and G02 renovation.
Planned Campus Facilities
Lingnan University continues to develop new campus facilities to support the University’s development. A new lecture theatre is being constructed on UG/F of Lau Chung Him Building, while a new multi-purpose venue is being constructed at the Upper Plaza between LBY and LKK Buildings.
Projects in Progress
Lingnan T-Plus
Lingnan T-Plus is a recently acquired property in T Plus, 2 Tsing Min Path, located at a 15-minute walk from the main campus, to accommodate the campus expansion. This location is ideal for teaching purposes, allowing that users can commute to the Main Campus and maintain connectivity to campus life. This property will be renovated to provide new lecture rooms and learning space to support the University’s development.
