Academic Certificate Verification Platform (ACVP) (for Graduates of 2025-26 onwards)
The Academic Certificate Verification Platform (ACVP) is a secure and trusted system for verifying academic qualifications issued by higher education institutions in Hong Kong. The platform is developed and operated by the Joint Universities Computer Centre (JUCC) and leverages blockchain technology to ensure authenticity, security, and efficiency in credential verification.
ACVP enables graduates, employers, and institutions to access and verify academic records quickly and reliably, eliminating the need for manual verification processes.
Starting from the graduates of 2025-26, the University will issue official academic documents (viz. graduation certificate and student’s copy of transcript) in electronic format via ACVP for graduates from:
Undergraduate programmes
Taught Postgraduate programmes
Research Postgraduate programmes
After the date of your degree conferment (i.e. the issuance date of graduation certificates) and you have indicated your consent in ACVP, the electronic documents are typically available within three working days.
Current students and graduates of 2024-25 or before may apply for hard copies of transcript, as well as the online education verification services provided by the Registry. For details, please visit the Registry Services.
For Graduates of 2025-26 onwards:
Visit the official ACVP website (https://acvp.hk)
Select “Login” > “Student Portal”;
Choose “Lingnan University” from the options;
Enter your myLingnan Portal login name (without “@ln.hk”) and password (e.g. if your email is abc@ln.hk, enter abc as your login name);
Read the Terms of Conditions carefully; and
Give consent to use the ACVP.
After the date of your degree conferment (i.e. the issuance date of graduation certificates) and you have indicated your consent in ACVP, the electronic documents are typically available within 3 working days.
After the electronic documents are available in ACVP, you can generate a URL, a QR code or download the PDF file to share with a third party.

For Employers / Verifiers:
Academic credentials can be verified through any of the following methods:
Upload or drag-and-drop the PDF files to the official ACVP website (https://acvp.hk);
Click on the URL provided by the graduate; or
Scan the QR code provided by the graduate.
