Affixing Posters on Notice Boards

To cultivate a neat, tidy and harmonious environment on the campus, all members of the University community shall adhere to the guidelines for affixing posters as set out below.

 

  1. All posters / materials shall be stamped with official chops of either the posting department or student society with due date stated, which should normally not exceed 14 calendar days from the date of posting. Please consider having the posters in either A3 or A4 size for better utilization of space on the notice boards.
  2. Blu-tack should be used for putting up posters on aluminum panels and wooden / glass surface.
  3. Wall finishes with emulsion paints, stone paints and cork spray are not suitable for putting up posters. Repair cost might be incurred to restore the surface to good condition.
  4. Do not put up poster on lift button panels, signage, directories, wall of lifts and decorative features on the campus.
  5. Event organizers are advised to borrow signage stands for the purpose of venue direction and remove the posters after the event.

 

Posters without official chops or due dates, or those that were already outdated, or being posted on inappropriate surfaces, will be removed by the Administration without prior notice.

 

In addition, all staff members and students shall comply with the Guiding Principles on the Use of University Premises and Facilities.
