In compliance with the Smoking (Public Health) Ordinance (Cap.371), the University designates its educational establishments, including the campus, hostels, and all managed premises, as smoke-free areas. It is strictly prohibited to smoke or carry a lit cigarette, cigar, or pipe within these designated areas. Additionally, the use of Alternate Smoking Products (ASPs), such as electronic smoking products, heated tobacco products, and herbal cigarettes, is also not allowed on campus.
To prioritize the health and well-being of everyone, it is strongly recommended NOT to smoke on the footbridge and pedestrian paths connecting the Main Campus, Simon and Eleanor Kwok Building and Pan Sutong Sports Ground.
