Celebration of Achievements Ceremony and Public Seminar on Chinese Classic Tea Varieties (January 2026) Tea Art Experience Workshops
The achievements sharing session summarized the project's results from 2024 to 2025, including: training 15 university students as trainee tea artists, holding over 35 tea art workshops, and organizing 5 large-scale seminars hosted by experts and scholars. The seminar hosted by Ms. Vivian Tang, introduced the origins and production of famous Chinese teas such as black tea, jasmine tea, Tieguanyin, and Pu-erh. The trainee tea artists demonstrated tea brewing on-site, offering four different Chinese teas to over 150 participants, which received widespread acclaim.
Certificates and service awards were presented on the event day to recognize graduates and volunteers of the Lingnan University "Tea Artist Professional Certificate Course." This first cohort of tea artist trainees completed 20 hours of training, participated in two days of hands-on practice and exams in Guangzhou, and obtained vocational skill certification recognized by China’s government.
