As a pioneer programe provided for university students, 60 university students participated and gained an understanding of the cultural history and industry of Chinese tea, while also experiencing the tea preparation process firsthand. This helps cultivate their interest in Chinese tea and lays a foundation for future career.

Tea Artist Professional Training and Examination(June-September 2025) (Completed)
Tea Artist Professional Training and Examination:
16 students participated in a 20-hour professional course under the guidance of a national tea artist, followed by revision class and vocational examinations in Guangzhou. Those who pass will receive certification, enabling them to undertake related roles such as tea service and business services, thereby increasing their earning potential.

Inviting Chinese National Tea Artists to visit secondary schools to promote tea art to students. The workshops will be designed to be accessible and will aim to enhance secondary students' interest in traditional Chinese culture and tea art, encouraging them to promote tea culture in the community after their training.

Famous tea artist, Mr. Yip Wai Man, recounted how his personal career transitioned from social work to promoting Chinese tea art. He analysed the Chinese tea industry from three perspectives: agricultural science, commerce, and cultural arts, pointing out that Hong Kong possesses rich resources and experience in promoting Chinese tea culture. He said, in the future, Hong Kong should firmly maintain its position in cultural promotion and actively collaborate with mainland China.

Ms. Tang Mei (Director of Hong Kong Ancient Tea Culture Society) shares her knowledge of Chinese tea culture and how to choose suitable tea ware. The content includes identifying and utilizing different materials of tea ware, repair techniques, collection tips and precautions, as well as physical item appreciation. We hope the public will understand that tea ware should prioritize functionality with art as a complement. It is recommended to start with tea ware that matches one’s lifestyle and taste, and only after thorough learning and understanding should one consider selecting higher-value pieces.

Tea Art Experience Workshops(August to November 2025) (Completed)
Conducted by Chinese National Tea Artists and "Tea Culture Promotion Ambassadors," these workshops will visit elderly centers/services in areas, not even Tuen Mun and Yuen Long but also districts like Shatin and Kowloon, introducing participants to different varieties of Chinese tea.
