JUPAS System for Flexible Admission Requirement

Starting from the 2026/27 academic year, the JUPAS admission system will introduce an enhanced Flexible Admission Requirement arrangement, enabling selected programmes to adopt programme-specific entrance requirements.

Currently, HKDSE applicants applying through JUPAS are required to meet the University's general entrance requirement of 332A22, comprising Level 3 in Chinese Language and English Language, Level 2 in Mathematics, an "Attained" grade in Citizenship and Social Development, and Level 2 in two elective subjects.

Under the enhanced arrangement, selected programmes will have the flexibility to set 

programme-specific admission requirements tailored to their academic needs and admission objectives. This enhancement will provide greater flexibility in recognising students’ strengths and potential, while maintaining the University’s commitment to academic excellence and quality admissions.
