Timesheet System for Part-time Staff

To comply with the new "4-6-8" continuous contract requirement under the Employment Ordinance, which came into effect in January 2026, ITSC worked with the Human Resources Office (HRO) to develop a new Timesheet System for part-time staff.  This is an online platform that streamlines the management and analysis of staff working records by HRO, reducing manual effort while improving accuracy, transparency, and regulatory compliance.

Key features include:

• Flexible batch upload of working records in multiple formats

• User-friendly interface for efficient review and validation of records

• Employment status analysis to help monitor compliance with the new continuous contract requirements

The system was successfully launched in July 2026, enhancing operational efficiency and supporting the University's compliance with statutory employment regulations.
