Workshop Purpose

The JIBS-PDW aims to provide scholars with developmental feedback on their current research projects in International Business. Authors will be paired with senior International Business scholars for discussions on their papers (in-person or online).

Who Should Apply?

We invite original papers from:

• Doctoral students or faculty members who have not previously published in JIBS.
• Scholars located at universities offering limited support for international business research.
• Individuals trained in disciplines less commonly associated with the field (e.g., human geography, political science, economic history) but interested in conducting international business research.

The goal is to enhance the quality of IB research and bring new scholars into the IB field.

Submission Guidelines

• How to Apply: Go to JIBS Paper Development Workshop Submission and select “Manuscript Submission Form.” Choose JIBS Paper Development Workshop under Track.
• Paper Length: Must be less than 10,000 words.
• Cover Page: Include all author names, emails, and affiliations.
• Multiple Submissions: You may submit the same version of the paper to another track for presentation at the conference.

Important Dates

• Notification of Acceptance: By October 15th
• Confirmation of Participation: By October 30th (early-bird registration deadline)

All participants must be AIB members and register for the conference before confirming attendance at the JIBS-PDW.
