Support for Graduates

SPECIAL STUDENT SUPPORT PROGRAMME FOR  2020 and 2021 GRADUATES

The Department of Economics echoes the University’s “Support Fund for 2021 Graduates” to announce a “Special Student Support Programme” for helping graduates in their job training, getting internships, research assistantships, and further studies.

Temporary Administrative Assistant

In order to support graduates to face the difficult economic situation under the Covid-19 pandemic, The Faculty of Social Sciences used Funds to hire a 2020 social sciences graduate for six months to render support to the BSocSc (Hons) Programme and the Faculty's postgraduate Programme.  

Administrative Internship

Three graduates Ms. CHEUNG Man Sze (BSS, ECON), Ms. DUAN Jilin (MSc in IHEM) and Ms. NI Yujia (BSS, IEP) were our administrative interns. They provided support to administrative services to the Department of Economics as well as the ECON TPg Office to ensure a high quality of work and accurate, timely and properly recorded/documented service delivery.

GRADUATION PHOTO STUDIO FOR ECON/MIBF/MIDE GRADUATES

The Department organised a Graduation Photo Studio for Economics, MIBF, and MIDE graduates from the last two cohorts on Friday, 27 November 2020.  The event was free of charge, and more than 30 graduates joined the event.
