Year 1 Entry
Please observe the following dates for completing the Academic Advising and Course Registration. If you do not complete Academic Advising procedures successfully, you will not be allowed to register courses for Term 1 and Term 2, 2023-24 during Online Course Registration and Add/drop Periods.

Read the following documents carefully and prepare your study plan for Term 1 and Term 2, 2023-24: a) Academic Advising Arrangement for New BSocSc Students (Year 1 and Year 2 Entry) b) Important Information on Academic Advising c) Suggested Study Plan for First-Year BSocSc Students i) For Year 1 Entry BSocSc Students (Except ECON Major Students) ii) For Year 1 Entry ECON Major Students only |

Input your tentative Study Plan for Term 1 and Term 2, 2023-24 under the “Planner” of the DegreeWorks System. |

Step 3 |
Email the Office of the Faculty of Social Sciences (bssprog@ln.edu.hk) for advice/approval on or before 18 August 2023 (Friday). New Year 1 and Year 2 BSocSc students are not required to contact your academic adviser individually unless otherwise instructed. |
| Step 4 |
Register courses for Term 1 and Term 2, 2023-24 during Online Course Registration on 23 August 2023. |
Late-admitted students who receive an offer after 17 August 2023 and students who miss the Online Registration on 23 August 2023 are required to complete academic advising and save your study plan before registering for your courses for Term 1, 2023-24 during the Term 1 Add/Drop Period (i.e. 29 August - 7 September 2023).
