INCUVIA (Baby Incubator) serves as a lifeline for premature and low-birth-weight infants in remote, impoverished, and medically underserved regions such as the Philippine Islands. It is designed to provide a controlled, warm, and clean environment, explicitly addressing the critical challenges of accessibility, cost, and reliability that prevent these vulnerable newborns from receiving the life-saving care they need, while enabling frontline healthcare workers in resource-limited areas to operate it without extensive training. This innovative technology helps improve neonatal care and enhance infant health outcomes. Students conducted comprehensive testing of the incubator on Verde Island in the Philippines, where its functionality was demonstrated and valuable feedback was gathered for further improvement.

         It runs on a versatile 12V system with battery and solar compatibility, guaranteeing a stable, life-saving thermal environment even when off-grid or with unstable power.

Lingnan University achieved a record-breaking milestone by securing five awards at the 50th International Exhibition of Inventions Geneva. Among its winning innovations was "BLOOM — A Low-cost, Energy-efficient Baby Incubator Designed for Remote and Rural Communities in Developing Countries," which received the esteemed Gold Medal with Congratulations of the Jury.
