ECO-Education for Subdivided Flat Families
In 2025, Lingnan University students collaborated with the People Service Centre to organise an ECO-Education Programme for subdivided flat families, benefiting over 20 families and engaging more than 100 participants in student-led eco-exhibitions. Through educational activities, including beach cleanups, children learned about the environmental impacts of waste pollution, climate change risks, and the importance of climate action. The programme also featured waste separation activities and eco-exhibitions organised by students, enabling participants to explore low-carbon lifestyles and practical approaches to climate change mitigation, adaptation, and impact reduction. By fostering environmental awareness and promoting sustainability and early warning concepts, the programme empowered families to adopt greener habits and contribute to a more resilient and sustainable community.
