Efficient Rainwater Harvesting for Improved Water Access in Tingloy
The Rainwater Harvesting Project is dedicated to enhancing sustainable water management in Tingloy by improving access to clean water and sanitation. Through comprehensive site investigations and engaging stakeholder interviews, students designed an innovative rainwater harvesting and filtration prototype. This initiative not only ensures reliable access to safe drinking water but also supports the development of resilient infrastructure and healthier communities. By empowering the community with sustainable solutions, the project significantly enhances their quality of life.

Portable and Affordable Incubator for Infants in Tingloy
This initiative is a continuation of the Baby Incubator Project in Winter Academy 2025. This project aims to enhance health and well-being of premature babies, ensuring they receive a safe start in life. With innovative design and technology, the Baby Incubator is being developed to meet medical standards and contribute to sustainable healthcare solutions in underserved communities across the Philippines.
In Summer Academy 2025, Students visited the Super Health Center on Tingloy and Batangas Medical Center in Batangas City, interviewing healthcare professionals to gather insights. Feedback collected is compiled into a comprehensive improvement plan for the current baby incubator design.

The Oyster Project aimed to empower oyster farmers in San Juan, Batangas, fostering sustainable aquaculture practices that promote economic growth and responsible consumption. Students engaged with stakeholders, gathering insights to create practical solutions and prototypes. By developing a comprehensive business plan and innovative value-added oyster products, the initiative ensures higher incomes for farmers while supporting marine ecosystems. This collaborative effort not only enhances local livelihoods but also aligns with global sustainability goals, receiving positive responses from both the local government and the farming community.

Enhancing Art & Culture for Early Childhood Education in Malitam
This initiative aimed to develop teaching materials that integrated local art, music, and culture for a culturally relevant educational experience. The summer camp was executed effectively, engaging over 100 students and parents. Feedback was collected to propose a capacity-building plan for early childhood educators, enhancing their skills and improving educational outcomes. Among all participants, some were from the Bajau area, and the project sought to foster inclusivity and respect, addressing any existing biases toward Bajau group. Through these efforts, the initiative contributes to a more equitable educational landscape for all.
