First Year Student Learning Experience Survey

The First Year Student Learning Experience Survey has been conducted by the Teaching and Learning Centre (TLC) since 2018/19. The Survey focuses on students’ learning experiences and self-evaluation of their achievement of the intended learning outcomes, especially on the Lingnan University Graduate Attributes (LUGAs) and programme-specific goals. All first-year students in 2020/21 were required to complete the survey online between April to mid-June 2021. A total of 317 responses were received out of 578 first-year students (response rate = 54.8%) (cf. 192 out of 572 first-year students, 33.6% response rate in 2019; 243 out of 595 first-year students, 40.8% response rate in 2020).
