♦ Programme Highlights ♦

• work for Japanese companies with flexible hours and location
• broaden your knowledge of Japanese culture and boost your connections by networking with Japanese companies
• make friends with Japanese students as internship buddies from universities in Japan will be assigned 
• Job Nature: Unpaid Full-time Internship 
• Programme fee: HKD 27,000 (Airfare and daily expenses are to be paid by the students)
• Overseas Internship Subsidy provided by OSA: HKD19,900
• First Generation University Education Fund:
  up to HKD5,000 (max. subsidy) for local students who are the first generation in their families receiving university education with financial need
   

Students who are eligible for "Subsidy for UG students" & the "First Generation University Education Fund" will receive a subsidy of up to HKD24,900 for participating this programme.  Participants will only need to pay HKD2,100 as programme fee and be responsible for covering their own airfare and daily expenses.

♦ Eligibility for the Programme & Overseas Internship Subsidy♦

1. Full-time UG students in all disciplines (non-final year students are preferable) with satisfactory CGPA results.
2. Knowledge of Japanese will be an advantage but not necessary
3. Students who are being suspended, on disciplinary hearing, or on academic probation, will not be eligible to apply for the subsidy.
4. For students who will go to academic exchange before and after this internship, please consult OSA ([email protected]) for details before your application.
5. For visa requirements for visiting Japan for travel purposes, please click HERE for details provided by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan.
6. Subsidy will be provided to students AFTER the completion of the internship, along with the required post-internship tasks.  Further details regarding the subsidy will be provided to participants who successfully join the programme.  
7. OSA has sole discretion to determine your subsidy application result.
